Serie A champion Juventus and Italy Cup winner Napoli will play the 2012 TIM Super Cup on Aug 11 at the Bird's Nest in Beijing.
Juventus lost to Napoli 2-0 in the Italy Cup final in May, and the Super Cup was seen as a chance for the team to fight back.
"The two clubs contributed 10 players to the Italian national team at the Euro, and they played in the final of the Italy Cup, which makes this game more interesting," said Fabio Santoro of the National League of Professionals.
"The two teams that played last year were warmly welcomed by Chinese fans, and I believe this year's game will be another success."
The Italian Super Cup made its debut in China in 2009, when Lazio beat Inter Milan 2-1 in the National Stadium. Domestic league champion Inter Milan refused to play in China in 2010 due to a scheduling conflict with the UEFA Super Cup final in Monaco.
The two countries joined forces again in 2011, bringing the Milan derby to China.
According to Wang Hui, who works for the Chinese organizers, the teams will arrive in China in early August to participate in some commercial activities ahead of the game, and Napoli will play another friendly with a Chinese team in a city nearby Beijing before the Super Cup.
