State councilor meets Nike president

BEIJING - State Councilor Liu Yandong met with Mark Parker, president and CEO of Nike, Inc. on Monday.
Liu said she highly appreciates Nike's contributions in promoting China's sports industry over the past 30 years.
"Communication and cooperation between the sports industries of the US and China is part of the two countries' cultural and social cooperation." she said.
Liu said she hopes Nike will further strengthen "win-win" cooperation with Chinese companies, actively participate in sports development for Chinese youth and the general public and make further contributions to the Chinese sports industry.
