New Delhi Commonwealth Games champion Josiah Ng will attempt to achieve a double by winning the Asian Games gold medal, but a revised schedule could undermine the chances of the national cycling squad in Guangzhou.

The cyclists are facing an entirely new ball game, with the organizers deciding to hold the men's and women's sprint over four days from Sunday.

The men's team sprint and keirin competitions will be spread over two days respectively.

The track competitions get under way with the team sprint qualifying on Saturday, and the way the schedule was organized has convinced Josiah that it could be a ploy to spoil Malaysia's hopes of a glorious outing in Guangzhou.
