Vietnamese men's football team ready for Asian Games

HANOI, VIETNAM - Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Thursday announced the list of twenty players of Vietnam's national men's football team for the upcoming 16th Asian Games, Vietnam' s news website Vnexpress reported.

The list included two goalkeepers, seven defenders, nine midfielders and two strikers, according to the report.

The team will head to Guangzhou, China on November 7 for the Games.

The 16th Asian Games draws participation of 24 men's football teams divided into six groups. Vietnam is in Group B with Iran, Bahrain and Turkmenistan.
