Macau - A grand ceremony was held at the Ruins of St. Paul's in Macau on Saturday to kick off a series of celebrations for the 100-day countdown to the Guangzhou Asian Games next Wednesday

During the launch ceremony, 30 Harley's electric bicycles, about 800 taxis and buses and 80 fishing boats set off to promote the Asian Games across Macau, carrying Guangzhou 2010 marks such as emblem flags and slogan banners.

More than 750 enthusiastic students from different schools in Macau took part in the launch ceremony to show their support for neighbouring city Guangzhou.

The promotional events are co-organised by authorities of the two cities.
