PYONGYANG - Demoncratic People's Republic of Korean (DPRK) female athlete Kim Kum Ok, the champion of 23rd Mangyongdae Prize Marathon on Tuesday, vowed to win at the Guangzhong Asian Games.
Kim, 22, led the race from the beginning to the end and claimed the title in two hours 27 minutes and 33 seconds. She said her next goal is to be crowned at the Guangzhou Asian Games.
Kim finished first in the 10th Asian Marathon in 2006, the 24th World College Students Games in 2007, 11th Asian Marathon in 2008 and the 5th East Asian Games in 2009.
