Brett Favre came out of retirement for the second time and signed with the Minnesota Vikings in August 2009. One month later he created a NFL record with his 271st consecutive start as quarter-back with Minnesota Vikings overtaking the mark of Jim Marshall. He was the starting quarter-back for the Green Bay Packers between 1992 and 2007 and for the New York Jets in 2008. He was a member of the Packers 1997 Super Bowl winning team.
