Updated: 2008-12-25 10:32 NBA - Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Farmar is expected to be sidelined for two months after having knee surgery on Wednesday, the NBA team said in a statement.
Farmar, 22, tore the lateral meniscus in his left knee during Friday's 89-87 defeat by the Miami Heat and was advised to have surgery after being examined by two doctors. A backup guard to Derek Fisher, Farmar is averaging 7.9 points on 40.5 percent shooting this season, his third with the Lakers. |
