France's triple ChampCar champion Sebastien Bourdais expects the Toro Rosso Formula One team to make a decision on his future in July.

Bourdais tested with the Ferrari-powered team at Le Castellet in southern France on Wednesday and will have another session in the car at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium in July.

"Sebastien will test again for Toro Rosso in July's Belgian Grand Prix preparations at Spa. After this final test, the Scuderia (team) will have to make a decision on his relationship with the team," the driver's Web site (www.sebastien-bourdais.com) said.

Bourdais is managed by Nicolas Todt, son of Ferrari boss Jean Todt, and the 28-year-old first tested for Toro Rosso in December.

The Frenchman, defending his ChampCar title with his Newman Haas team after winning the title for the past three years, has long desired a drive in Formula One and tested for now-defunct Arrows in 2002.
