PSV Eindhoven's Sun Xiang wants to play for the full 90 minutes on Wednesday against Arsenal after becoming the first Chinese to start in a UEFA Champions League game two weeks ago.

"I don't know if I'll play," Sun was quoted as saying in media reports. "but I expect to go to London with the rest of the squad. The coach will decide."

"I am still in an adjustment period, including the language, although I can speak English. But Dutch is the mainstream language in the squad. I want to improve my English, but I know I must also work on my Dutch."

"I really feel the enjoyment of football here, whether training or in competition. I really feel it's a lot of fun, the team have not regarded me as an outsider."

Sun was sent in as a second half substitute against Arsenal in the first leg on February 21.
