"Paula gave birth at Princess Grace hospital to a healthy baby girl," Radcliffe's management company Octagon said in a statement on her official Web site. "Both Paula and her daughter are doing very well."

The 33-year-old Briton told Reuters last year she planned to run at the Osaka world championships this August but said she had not decided whether to compete in the marathon or the 10,000 metres.
