Torres rescues 10-man Atletico against Osasuna in Cup(Reuters)Updated: 2007-01-10 08:51 A great goal from Fernando Torres earned 10-man Atletico Madrid a 1-1 draw at home to Osasuna in their King's Cup last 16 first leg match on Tuesday. Osasuna's tight defence restricted a dominant Atletico to a couple of half chances before the visitors took the lead in the 37th minute with their first shot on target. Miguel Flano's cross was stabbed home by Cameroon striker Pierre Webo from close range and three minutes after the restart Atletico defender Pablo Ibanez was shown a straight red card. But the tie was thrown open again when Torres controlled Luis Perea's crossfield pass, cut inside his marker and curled a shot into the top corner to equalise in the 73rd minute. Six matches will be played on Wednesday with Primera Liga leaders Sevilla travelling to third division Rayo Vallecano and Barcelona visiting second division Alaves. Real Madrid are at Real Betis on Thursday. The second legs are due to be played on January 17.
