Beckham would fit Blackburn(Fox Sports)Updated: 2006-11-28 10:41 Blackburn winger Morten Gamst Pedersen has urged Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham to join Mark Hughes' Rovers revolution.
Former England captain Beckham looks set to quit the Bernabeu in the summer after falling down the pecking order under new boss Fabio Capello. Hughes recently admitted that he would love to bring the former Manchester United star to Ewood Park. And Norwegian star Pedersen has sent an invitation to Beckham to join his former Manchester United team-mate at Ewood. He told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "Our manager, Mark Hughes, has been linked with Beckham. "Blackburn is a good place to be at the moment and if any big player wants to play for us, he is welcome. "It's good to have good players in your side. "There are not many players in the world who have had a career like Beckham. "He's a good player and we know what he can give, so he would be welcome if he wants to come. "Now would be a good time." |
