Beijing Olympics signs graphic design supplier (CRIENGLISH.com ) Updated: 2006-08-03 11:00 The Beijing-based Crystal Digital Technology
Corporation has become the official graphic design services supplier for the
Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (or
BOCGO) made the announcement Wednesday after the two sides signed a contract.
Founded in 1995, the local company will be responsible for developing 3D
graphics and supplying graphic design services for promotional videos,
publications, stadium maps and internet promotions for the Games.
A BOCGO official said at the signing ceremony that the committee wishes the
cooperation will help realize the theme of a "Technology-empowered Olympics."
The Crystal Digital Technology Corporation took on the 3D animation design
project of Olympic stadiums during Beijing's bid for the 2008 Games.
The Beijing 2008 Sponsorship Program consists of three tiers of support for
the Games: Beijing 2008 partners, Beijing 2008 sponsors and Beijing 2008
suppliers (both exclusive and co-exclusive). Up to now, the Program has signed
eleven partners, nine sponsors, six exclusive suppliers and one co-exclusive
supplier.
