Volunteer recruitment kicks off

Games will kick off next week. Approximately 100,000 volunteers are needed.

The organizing committee of the Games says the majority of volunteers will be
chosen from college students in Beijing and also some from middle schools.
Residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, overseas Chinese, foreign students
studying in Beijing and international volunteers may also apply.
People interested can make submissions online.
Recruitment will continue through to April 2008.
