Dutchman Tjallingii wins Tour of Qinghai Lake

Skil-Shimano (SKS) rider Maarten Tjallingii of the Netherlands has won the Tour of Qinghai Lake after completing the final 9th stage.

Ukrainian Bogdan Bondrev of Intel-Action (INT) team of Poland won the final stage, a 84km circuit race in Xining.

Tjallingii completed the nine stages in 30 hours, two minutes, and 56 seconds, just one second faster than Iran's Askari Hossein from Giant Asia Racing team, who won the Asian best rider award.

Spaniard Nacor Burgos Rojo of Relax-Gam (REG) kept the green jersey for five out of the nine-stage race to crown the sprint king. His teammate Garcia-Casarrubi claimed the red jersey as climb master.
