The Olympic Tower, the headquarters of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) appeared with fresh luminous Olympic marks on Wednesday.

An 18-meter-tall Olympic emblem was fixed on the upper end of the building's facade while a 64.9-meter-tall, 8.4-meter-wide piece of fiber dyed with the "Beijing 2008" red mark was stuck to its east wall.

Officials with the image-building project said a similar decorative fiber is expected to be installed to its west wall when the whole project finishes in mid-July.

BOCOG moved into the 19-story building in late January this year due to its growing volume of work. Located at the mid-section of Beijing's North Fourth Ring Road, the office building will be the command center during the 2008 Olympic Games.
