IOC Coordination Commission to hold 6th session (BOCOG) Updated: 2006-05-15 16:31
BEIJING -- The Coordination Commission of the International Olympic Committee
(IOC) for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad -- Beijing 2008 -- will open the sixth
plenary session in Beijing on May 16.
During the three-day meeting, the commission will debrief the presentation of
the Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) on the
preparatory work for the 29th Olympic Games and the 13th Paralympic Games, and
hold talks with BOCOG on the topics including venue operations, competition
schedule, media services, culture and ceremonies, medical services and security
matters.
During the session, commission members and experts will visit and inspect
Beijing Olympic venues now under construction.
