Seniors get help for World Health Day

The World Health Day falls on April 7 every year and the 2010 World Health Day will focus on urbanization and health. In China, which is undergoing the largest scale of urbanization, the aging population of people over 60 reached 167 million in 2009, making up 12.5 percent of the total population, according to a survey. There are many elderly people in China who cannot take care of themselves without family members around to help, and gradually more help and love are being given to them from society as a whole.
