Ma Rong, 22, is from Xinxiang, Henan province. She is studying English and Urdu at Islamabad's National University of Modern Languages. She has been in Pakistan since 2012.

"If I didn't like Pakistan why would I still be here? My sister works as a translator for a Pakistani company. She wanted me to come and study here so that when I finish my course I can come and live here too. There are many opportunities for the Chinese in Pakistan. There are lots of Chinese here already."
