A media activity, themed on green development along the Silk Road Economic Belt, opened in Lanzhou on May 25.

As part of the activity, presenters from different Chinese broadcasting stations gathered in Lanzhou to explore the stories surrounding green development on the Silk Road from May 24-29.

Wang Xiaolan, deputy director of Gansu TV Station, was confident that the media activity would be a success. "The media activity provides us with a good opportunity to publicize the beauty of Gansu province and practice the Belt and Road Initiative," said Wang.
