"The Journey of the Water", a special spa session developed by FSPA, the capital's very first "boutique spa", attracts thousands of visitors in the summer. Though priced at 1,500 yuan for 90 minutes, the service is seen as a must-try.

Beijing:Relax to the max

"The Journey of the Water" not only claims to rid the body of toxins and moisturize the skin, but also to lift and firm the body. "It is specially suitable for brides, or mothers-to-be," says Li Dongyu, FSPA spokesman.

The spa is now open at Chaowai SOHO. Besides offering the capital's residents a unique spa experience, it also sets a new standard for the spa industry.

FSPA is designed by renowned Hong Kong designer John Chan, winner of numerous interior design awards, with a strong reputation in design circles for his long-term cooperation with international hotel groups such as Shangri-la, InterContinental, Starwood, and Hyatt. Set in tones of black, white and luscious green, this 2,000-sq-m spa blends the cultures of East and West perfectly into a bold and minimalist style, thus creating a relaxing, contemporary and natural ambience.
