Swarovski is famous for its crystals, but have you noticed its home dcor products? "Crystallized - Swarovski Elements" has entered into a major partnership with Shanghai's 100% Design Fair for 2009, the second edition of China's first international fair dedicated to contemporary design. Now capital city audiences have the opportunity to look over these products.
Crystallized has worked with the fair's two creative directors, New York design writer Aric Chen and artist designer Tobias Wong. The preview presents an assortment of possibilities.
Take a look at chairs, for example. They all sparkle with crystals from Swarovski Elements. Some are on the front, others are woven into the cloth, for a hippie "bling-bling" style. A wooden kitchen table is decorated with crystals in the middle, so when the lamp throws its light, your table and meal will shine like a fairy tale.
100% Design with Crystallized Swarovski Elements is being held in Shanghai in the middle of October, at the Shanghai International Convention Center. Visitors will be able to enjoy the sensual experience of direct contact with Crystallized Swarovski Elements in the main entrance hall, which features a sparkling crystal installation on the stairway, and a magnificent crystal curtain in the hall. Six Chinese designers have devoted their talents to the brand, making small objects and household items that are affordable, fun and youthful.
