Aoyuan community in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, recently organized guessing games and couplet writing programs for residents to welcome the Spring Festival – China's biggest traditional festival.
The riddles were prepared by staff members of the Chongqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and focus on customs and conventions, the Party's innovative theories, and hot topics in politics, culture, and daily lore.
Students and teachers from Liangjiang's Jinshan Primary School were invited to write Spring Festival couplets and fu characters (meaning good luck in Chinese) for residents as new year gifts.

"The very act of writing and posting couplets creates a festive atmosphere. The programs organized by the community are great, they have brought good luck and blessings to us," said Wang Xia, a community resident.
In addition, Jinshan community also spread awareness of virus prevention and control, anti-spoofing measures, and garbage sorting.
