Chonggqing municipality in Southwest China on Wednesday reported five confirmed COVID-19 cases discovered in Jiulongpo, Changshou, Banan, and Shapingba districts, as well as in Liangjiang New Area.

To date, 572 out of 583 coronavirus patients in the city have been discharged from hospitals.
