The total planned floorage of the Liangjiang New Area Service Trade Industrial Park is 1.2 million square meters. The first phase has an area of 100,000 square meters and was co-established by the Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee and the Chongqing Foreign Trade Commission. It aims to be a leading cluster for leasing, cross-border e-commerce, and company headquarters.
Founded on Aug 5, 2015, and located in the south of Zhaomushan Forest Park, the Liangjiang New Area Service Trade Industrial Park has created a unique “business ecosystem” facilitated by financial services, favorable policies, talent reserves, technological assistance and supporting systems.
The industrial park will utilize the free trade framework and gain momentum by establishing nine industrial clusters focusing on new finance, international logistics and productive services. It will become a trade center that targets the domestic and foreign markets, cultural businesses, global exhibitions, service outsourcing, professional services and life-oriented services.
The industrial park is committed to becoming a national demonstration zone for the innovative development of the service trade, one of the significant regions for inland service industry clusters, and the emerging service sector's strategic pilot platform. The park will play a crucial role in Chongqing's integration into the global market.
Three areas comprise the industrial park: Square Center deals with cross-border e-commerce, finance leasing and the headquarters trade; Yuxing Square focuses on small loans, factoring and other emerging finances; and the Foreign Business Center provides professional services related to law, accounting, taxes, consulting and evaluation. The synergy of the three areas levels up the development of the whole park.
Liangjiang New Area Service Trade Industrial Park has already formulated business partnerships with promising enterprises such as e-commerce giant Alibaba, Vipshop, Mashang Consumer Finance Co and Chongqing Energy Import& Export Co.
