At the third China International Import Expo (CIIE), which is ongoing in Shanghai on Nov 10, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality held a symposium on investment and trade cooperation, which saw 19 agreements concluded.
The projects covered manufacturing, commerce, software and information technology services, electronic information and intelligent equipment, and the total contract value came in at 28.62 billion yuan ($4.32 billion).
Representatives from 42 transnational enterprises, overseas organization and business associations attended the symposium to share their investment experience and many said they benefited from Chongqing's upbeat and can-do business environment.
