The 2020 Chongqing International Culture & Tourism Industry Expo kicked off on Oct 15 at Chongqing International Expo Center – in the municipality in Southwest China – and runs in its online version until the end of the month.
This year's expo attracted the participant of various countries involving in the Belt and Road Initiative, China's 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions, as well as nearly 1,000 companies.
With its 10 themed exhibition areas, the expo's offline version ended on Oct 18, but the online expo runs until the end of October.
Online visitors can still take in Chongqing's tourism promotion achievements, its integrated tourism, animation, comics and games, as well as its traditional arts and crafts, creative designs and intangible cultural heritage from other countries.
At the Liangjiang New Area exhibition area, visitors to the now finished offline expo saw the featured tourism resources of Liangjiang, but also learned about coffee making technics, as Liangjiang is home to Chongqing Coffee Exchange – China's leading coffee trading platform.
UK trade commissioner for China praised Chongqing as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
