The 2020 E-cool Design Festival launched on Sept 26 at Jinshan E-cool Art Design Center in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, with a theme of "Chongqing design power."

The annual festival has been successfully held for three years and aims to promote the standardized level of Chongqing's home design industry. This year's festival is open to the public for free until Oct 31.

The festival includes two exhibitions – "aesthetics of life" and "material design" – along with various design-related activities inviting famous designers to share design concepts and works and discuss the co-existence of design and livelihood.

Promotional activities will also be organized to offer discounts from Chongqing's 12 design companies.

The curators of this year's festival have explored the future of stylish living through sustainable development, creative design, retro design and radicalism, bringing new ideas to Chongqing's home design industry.
