Shaanxi Lighte Optoelectronics Material Co, a high-tech industry group based in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, signed an agreement with Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing, Jan 16 to launch a series of optoelectronic projects.

Shaanxi Lighte focuses on optoelectronic materials, precision electronics and semiconductor materials, and has 11 subsidiaries in the display, automobile semiconductors and internet of things (IoT) sectors.

According to the agreement, Shaanxi Lighte will launch production lines, one headquarters and one research and development center in Liangjiang, aiming to drive the development of other subsidiaries and increase the number of patented technologies.

Lighte has been investing in Liangjiang since 2013, and by October 2019, it had launched 26 production lines in Liangjiang New Area Shuitu High-tech Industrial Park.
