During the transformation process of the automobile manufacturing industry, Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing achieved breakthroughs in the intelligence field.
According to Chongqing's digital workshop and intelligent factory project list this year, Chongqing Sokon Industry Group and Chongqing Changan Automobile Company are leaders in the industry.
Sokon's intelligent workshop is equipped with AGVs (automated guided vehicle) which can carry materials and are more precise than humans.
Sokon's independently developed automatic tester makes use of 10 advanced intelligent manufacturing technologies and can make fault diagnoses for engines with 100 percent accuracy.

Changan launched a Shangri-La project in 2017 which proposes to stop the selling of traditional fuel vehicles by 2025 and launch over 30 new energy vehicles by 2050.
During the past year, the total output of Changan new energy vehicles reached 26,000. Beijing Hyundai joined the ranks of new energy vehicle manufacturers and will manufacture nine types of new energy vehicles by 2022, which means the proportion of new energy vehicles will reach 10 percent of the entire production line.
Pandauto, an intelligent shared car platform, applies big data technology to develop green travel. With over 3 million registered users, the platform's new energy shared cares have traveled over 1 billion kilometers in total and saved on 189 million kilograms of carbon emissions, 1.58 million micrograms of PM2.5 and 84.22 million liters of fuel.
