Hydata, a national leader in big data visualization headquartered in Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area, will assist Lippo Group, Indonesia's biggest property developer, in building its Meikarta smart city, local media reported on July 10.
According to their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Hydata will set up an Indonesian branch and provide expertise in intelligent security, artificial intelligence and technology incubation in Meikarta city.
Located in eastern Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, Meikarta is an emerging business center which is becoming a common destination for Chinese enterprises thanks to strengthening Sino-Indonesia ties.
Hydata will offer solutions to Meikarta's various public security problems, particularly in campuses, hospitals and malls, and will make the most of its resources to bring in more technology-driven companies and factories to form an industry cluster of cloud computing, big data and block chain.
Hydata will also cooperate with local governments to build an incubation center for technology transfer and startup acceleration, hoping to boost innovation in the area.
Hydata has already launched an R&D center in Silicon Valley, California.
"This cooperation marks another milestone for Hydata in its expansion on the world stage," said a director of Hydata, "It's not only a boost to our international influence but also a shining example for our overseas projects."
Liangjiang-based digital enterprises, including outsourcing platform ZBJ.com and computer vision startup CloudWalk Tech, are carrying out projects around the world, showcasing Liangjiang's digital economy to the global market.
