The Health Smart Valley, a health industry innovation platform, was officially settled in Liangjiang New Area (LNA) of Chongqing Municipality, Chongqing Daily reported on Aug 27.

The platform will serve as an industry chain incubator for entrepreneurs in the field of medical health care.

Covering an area of about 280,000 square meters, the platform primarily incubates two different kinds of healthcare start-ups: technology companies which focus on the R&D of advanced technologies and healthcare management companies with a core of developing innovative mode of medical treatment services.

Companies which meet the standards can get an incubation period of six months to a year. During the period, the platform will provide support including seed funds, mentors, training, and venture capital.

Customized service systems including basic services, professional services and financing services are also available in the Health Smart Valley. Companies enjoy services such as business registration, office integration, financial management and policy consultancy.

Until today, the Chongqing Health Smart Valley has seen approximately 10 companies enter, including Demei Healthcare, MW Dental, and Vcbeat.net.
