The 2017 China Chongqing International Auto Industry Fair opened at the Yuelai International Convention Center in the Liangjiang New Area on June 8.
The fair will last until June 14, with more than 100 auto brands from all over the world attending the fair to display over 1,000 automobiles, including 20 global limited edition supercars, cross country vehicles, SUVs and MPV.
World renowned Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo brought its new Guilia supercar, the fastest car in the world, to the fair. German car tuning manufacturer Carlsson also took part in the fair for the first time.

Domestic concept cars, such as QOROS'S Model K-EV, SWM's EROE and Hongqi's U-Concept also debuted this year in Chongqing. The QOROS'S Model K-EV is fully electric, and can run at a maximum speed of 260 kilometers per hour.
Japanese auto manufacturer NISSAN offered visitors the opportunity to experience a wingsuit flight via virtual reality (VR) at its exhibition pavilion. Other activities available during the fair include VR driving, adaptive cruise control, self-driving and pilotless parking.
