Two new landmark buildings are currently under construction in the Zhaomushan Science Innovation Park of Liangjiang New Area–the Sincere Finance Service Trade Center (STC) and the Sun Building.

Expected to put into operation in 2018, the 203-meter Sincere Finance STC is a 5-A rated office building with a total area of 105,000 square meters.

An investment of 600 million yuan ($96.8 million) from Chongqing Gaoke Group aided in the construction of the STC, which is designed as a headquarters base for modern service companies in Chongqing.

The Sun Building, with a total height of 201.5 meters, has focused on ecology, energy conservation and low carbon building techniques throughout its construction process. Expected to be completed in 2020, the building will employ advanced technologies, such as an intelligent control system.

The construction of the two buildings received a pre-certification from LEED, a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices.

After the two buildings are put into use, Zhaomushan Science Innovation Park will continue to grow as a technology and modern services hub at the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
