Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing Municipality has recently opened service windows to provide one-stop administrative examination and approval services.
The service windows, responsible for the China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, were launched on April 1 and are to facilitate approval services in an 86.3-square-meter section of Liangjiang New Area under the FTZ’s jurisdiction.
As the first targeted service for the FTZ, efforts are underway to perfect the new service windows by offering diversified administrative and approval-related services, such as business registration, electronic trade license management and foreign investment approval procedures.
To further enhance its efficiency, special windows will exclusively open to accept the requests, transfer them to an appropriate department and then return them to customers on completion.
Branches scattered around Chongqing bonded port will continue to improve the efficiency and quality of government services.
For requests that have exceeded the designated service time, the new system will automatically approve them by default.
An online service will soon be available to advance transparency and simplify procedures.
“The service windows will be arranged at an alternate new site to further improve the ancillary facilities,” said an official from the government affairs center of Liangjiang New Area.
