China Net Center, a leading content delivery network and data center provider from China, inked a contract with Liangjiang New Area government to build its western base at the Liangjiang International Cloud Computing Industrial Park on Dec 1.
The company will utilize its vast experience and technological advantages for content distribution, server hosting, and operator-oriented network optimization solutions. The base will serve as a western data center as well as research, development, and operation center.

The company aims to set up a comprehensive platform for internet businesses integrating content distribution networks, internet content providers, cloud computing, and big data.
China Net Center has more than 2,200 employees across four branches in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. They have eight subsidiaries globally including the United States and Hong Kong, and two R&D center in Xiamen and Silicon Valley.
According to the manager of China Net Center, the company’s western base will largely promote the cloud computing and big data industry in Chongqing and help to form an integrated industry chain of research, development, operation, settlement, and resource services.
Since the establishment of the Liangjiang International Cloud Computing Industrial Park last October, 36 large scale enterprises, including Pacnet and China Union, opened sub companies in the industrial park, promoting the regional industrial cluster.
