Industrial products made in Chongqing will go on show at the Experience China festival in Kazakhstan, a festival on Chinese culture, in Alma-Ata, the capital city of Kazakhstan from Aug 26 to Sept 2.

An exhibition of Chinese products manufactured using new intelligent methods is to be a highlight of the festival. The event will have a theme of “improving lives, connecting people”. The festival aims to showcase how intelligent manufacturing benefits Chinese people directly.

Three main exhibition halls, featuring products with uses in areas such as city construction, the manufacturing industry, and daily life, give an overall view of China’s development. Chongqing is bringing its exciting products to the event and they will no doubt prove popular.

An outstanding part of the exhibition, the “intelligent life” pavilion, provides visitors a novel experience of daily life with various hi-tech products, such as facial recognition technology, products utilizing the “Internet of things”, virtual reality (VR) and agricultural items. Also local people can enjoy beautiful scenery and culture through VR experiences.

Experience China has been held in 40 countries, including France, Germany, Australia, Nigeria and Burma, since 1999. The campaign is organized by the State Council Information Office of China to promote Chinese traditional culture, and strengthen friendship and cooperation with countries all over the world.
