Chongqing Port Group recently held an annual working skills competition, with more than 200 workers competing in its final.

This year's competition was the most difficult since the first session and has attracted the largest number of participants.

It takes reference of the national vocational competition in 2014 and requires contestants have rich experience in fixing manufacturing problems.

This year the contest is linked to vocational certificates, meaning that contestants who pass both the theory and practice tests will get a certificate from the municipal human resource authority.

Chongqing Port Group encourages its workers to learn new skills and techniques. Many workers were inspired to study and become experts inn their crafts.
