The Liangjiang Area Planning Symposium in session [Photo/liangjiang.gov.cn]

Liangjiang New Area held a symposium in its Shuitu Industrial Development Zone on July 30 to discuss its development plan, according to the Liangjiang administrative committee.

The committee's director, Ling Yueming, was among those in attendance at the conference.

The conference was sponsored by the Liangjiang administrative committee and Chongqing City Planning Bureau. More than 120 people attended the conference, including director of the China Academy of Urban Planning & Design, who was among nine experts in attendance.

During the conference, Tang Zongwei, deputy director of the Liangjiang administrative committee, introduced the development of the new area since its establishment five years ago.

Tang pointed out that within five years of development, "Liangjiang has achieved a big success in the current stage and has realized the integration of the city and industry."
