Hyundai Mobis Company has recently decided to settle in the Yufu Industrial Development Zone in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, in a move to further strengthen the automobile industry chain in the Zone.

The project will start its construction at the end of June and is planned to be completed in March 2017. The Yufu branch of the company, whose total investment amount will reach $250 million, is expected to generate $1.2 billion each year after launching its operations.

The recent investment decision by Hyundai Mobis Company as well as the Continental Corporation – a leading German automotive manufacturing company – will inject new vitality to the automobile industry in the Yufu Industrial Development Zone as well as Liangjiang New Area, according to a director of the Zone.
