According to the statistics released by the Liangjiang administrative committee, Liangjiang's busy tourist area of Minguo street received 120,000 tourists and 25,000 vehicles during the Spring Festival.

Minguo street also held a series traditional activities for tourists to better experience the traditional Chongqing style Spring Festival. Street activities included Spring Festival couplet writing, window decoration paper cutting and New Year picture drawing. A limited amount of New Year lucky bags were given out to tourists visiting the street.

"We provided travelers enough space to write Spring Festival couplets on Minguo street. Travelers were able to experience the fun of writing couplets and bring the couplets back home," said a staff member from Minguo street.

In addition, Minguo street also made a series of security plans to ensure the safety of travelers and that there were no public safety accidents on Minguo street during the Spring Festival holiday.
