The Shuitu Industrial Park in the Liangjiang New Area has constructed a new data centre with 40,000 servers, whilst the construction of another 65,000 servers is in progress.

According to the Liangjiang administration committee, it will take advantage of its information service industry and construct an industrial ecological park in the Liangjiang New Area.

Since the establishment of the Liangjiang International Cloud Computing Industrial Park, large scale enterprises including Pacnet and China Unicom opened their sub companies in the industrial park, promoting the regional industrial cluster.

In 2015, the cloud computing industrial park will work on the formulation of a platform of national financial data, as well as the construction of a financial big data industrial base, regional settlement center, cloud computing solution operation center and the cloud computing trading center.

With the rapid development of the information industry, smart hardware and data bases have become the core strength of the cloud computing service center, according to a senior from the cloud computing industry.

The Liangjiang New Area will integrate its resources and construct an industrial ecological park based on its hardware development ability. China's first financial big data industry base is expected to open in the Liangjiang New Area.
