Staff from the Local Tax Bureau in Yufu Industrial Zone, Liangjiang New Area recently visited "shack kid" Ran Linying and other poor children in the Gonghe Primary School, Gonghe village, Pengshui town.
They brought rice, oil, blankets, clothes and other necessities for families with difficulties. They also provided each child with books and grants to help them complete their studies successfully.
"Shack kid" Ran Linying, whose parents have died, has lived in a six square meters shack with her grandma all her life. Their lives are extremely difficult; therefore, she is the Local Tax Bureau’s key support child. During the visit, the staff were glad to hear that Ran has made great progress in her studies and is becoming more optimistic. They encouraged her to continue her efforts in the future and communicate her difficulties in a timely manner. Holding donated books, Ran said that she would strive to learn and never let others down.
Later on, the staff visited Ran Qiulin, Ran Jialin and Jia Caidie’s families. These three children have stable academic performance and their lives are now on the right track thanks to the fundings from these caring people. The director of the Local Tax Bureau called on the public to pay more attention to "shack kids" and help them successfully complete their education, as well as feel the warmth of society.
