Shuitu Industry Park in Liangjiang New Area recently hosted a series of free business set-up training sessions for rural-to-urban household members.

In 2012, the Park cooperated with Beibei District Human IESS, and Beibei District Vocational Education Center to set up a 450 square meters career training center in Hexin community residence where skilled training sessions are organized frequently. This time, the organizer invited experienced SYB senior lecturers and local business elites, providing fruitful 10-day-long training sessions covering the topics of entrepreneur evaluation, marketing evaluation and more.

To encourage rural-to-urban household members to set up businesses, the Park established a flat form for micro-enterprise start-ups, offered tax deductions or exemption policies and provided micro loans.

According to the feedback, nearly half of the 60 attendees have confirmed they are soon going to set up their own businesses.
