Recently, as officially approved by the Chongqing Arbitration Commission, its Liangjiang New Area Arbitration Institute has been formally established. This is the second legal dispute mediation platform for civil and commercial cases in Liangjiang following the establishment of the Liangjiang New Area Intellectual Property Court at the beginning of the year.

The Liangjiang New Area Arbitration Institute is a branch of the Arbitration Commission in Chongqing, and its main responsibilities include promoting the arbitration legal system in Liangjiang New Area under the leadership of the Chongqing Arbitration Commission, and cooperating with the Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee Legal Bureau.

Arbitration is an efficient, low cost, confidential, and neutral way of commercial disputes internationally. The set-up of the Liangjiang New Area Arbitration Institute will enrich commercial dispute resolution channels, and create an investment and financing environment in line with the practice of international commercial affairs.
