Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing city, opened a “Recording Liangjiang” photography competition this May. Ten outstanding photographers from across China will visit Liangjiang New Area to document the region’s rapid globalization, industrialization and urbanization.

Liangjiang New Area is the country’s first national-level inland development zone. Photographers vying to attend are required to send their works to the contest’s organizing committee from July 17 to 22. Contestants can apply online through Weibo.
