On June 26, Liangjiang New Area convened a symposium for key enterprises for the second quarter of 2014. The symposium analyzed the economic situation in Liangjiang New Area during the first half of the year and interpreted policies. The person in charge of Liangjiang New Area economic operations bureau gave the report.
In the first quarter, 32 key enterprises raised over 50 questions and suggestions. In view of these questions, the management committee coordinated a response. So far, 39 of 50-plus questions and suggestions have been addressed.
Representatives of nearly 40 key enterprises communicated and gave speeches. The key enterprises introduced production and operations during the first half of the year and the plan for the second half of the year, new products, market conditions, problems and demands, while enterprises with key construction projects talked about construction difficulty, problems, and demands.
At the symposium, the problems and suggestions mainly were concentrated in auxiliary infrastructure and guarantee for essential productive factors, such as power supply, sewage treatment, and construction of logistic channels.
Hao Ming, deputy director of Liangjiang New Area management committee, said that the overall economic tendency went well during the first half of this year and hoped that each key enterprise was braced to fight for better economic development in the New Area.
First, stable growth shall be maintained, while markets will be tapped for more orders. Second, project construction enterprises will finish with investment and construction, complete project construction and put into production as scheduled. Third, the Bureau of Economic Operations and the Management Committee shall keep monitoring and analyzing, grasp the overall economic tendency, research and work out economic growth measures via multiple approaches and help enterprises complete yearly business indicators, thus jointly supporting the economic development of the New Area.
In view of the feedback from the enterprises, Hao Ming requested the responsible departments to systematically sort out and coordinate for solutions, to create good operational environment.
