Chongqing's general aviation industry has completed an important step. Chongqing Helicopter Investment Co Ltd, which acquired the US helicopter manufacturer Enstrom Helicopter Corp in December, 2013, has constructed an assembly workshop, in the general aviation industrial park of Liangjiang New Area, according to the Liangjiang New Area administrative committee on May 5. The Enstrom Helicopter assembly will formally start operations at the end of May with an initial expected total production of 50 Enstrom Helicopters.
