Technological elites to gather in Xi'an to exchange ideas

Xi'an city in Shaanxi province will hold the Elite Meeting•Xi'an Business Leaders Exchange Meeting on the evening of Oct 24 during the 2nd Global Programmers' Festival on Oct 24-25, in order to promote the city's science and technology development.

The exchange meeting is an offline salon specially designed for business leaders and technological elites in Xi'an.

It aims to provide a platform for entrepreneurs and experts to exchange ideas, especially the ideas on Xi'an technological development and business opportunities. Participants' suggestions will be reported to government departments.

The festival will be jointly held by Xi'an municipal government and China Information Technology Industry Federation. It is the world's first festival held for programmers. During the festival, various performances and themed salons will be held.

Xi'an is one of the four world-famous ancient cities, with a long history and profound culture. It is also an important city for the development of modern science and technology in China.

In 2017, Xi'an ranked sixth in China's urban hard science and technology such as software technology. In 2018, Xi'an was officially approved as the ninth national core city. In the future, the city aims to prosper with advanced technology, according to local government.
